Steve is Assistant to the Pastor.

Steve has served numerous churches in Ohio and Florida as Youth Ministries Director, Director of Worship Ministries, Outreach and Program Ministries Director, Contemporary Worship Minister, Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor, Worship Leader, Assistant Worship Leader, Deacon, Licensed Minister, School Chapel Service Minister, and Children's Church Co-Director with his wife Joyce Ann.

Steve is a Christian writer. His Faith Forum and Faith Focus newspaper columns appear in 2 Collier County newspapers and in 6 Brevard County newspapers, reaching nearly 1/2 million people.

As a Christian music artist, Steve has ministered Contemporary Christian Concerts with Grammy winner Geoff Moore, Out of Eden, and Freddie Colloca. His songs have appeared on multi-artist projects such as Refuge Ministry's "Songs of Refuge" and Harvest Christian Center's "I'm On My Way" for which he penned and sang the title song. Steve's own Contemporary Christian Music project "I saw His Face" received national and international radio air play on many different radio formats and his music video "Closer Every Day" received TV air play in many states.

Steve has performed Prison Ministry for over 8 years in two high and maximum security jail facilities for teens. He believes that each youth is God's creation and deserves the opportunity to find their place in God's plan and to grow in their unique personalities and gifts. Steve's youth ministry at FUMC of Homosassa will be welcoming, encouraging, fun and spiritually rewarding. He says, "Our Youth Ministry will be a safe place for teens to come be themselves, have a lot of fun and to discover their spirituality."

             Small groups are just that: small gatherings of people. Holistic Small Groups have trained leaders and are designed for people with common interests to meet together with a common purpose.

             Each groups is united by a common theme. Each theme is designed to spark interest and encourage group dynamics.

Everyone is welcome and each group chooses their own direction and focus. All groups share a common DNA structure which includes:

1. Inclusive Fellowship—Anyone and everyone is welcome

2. Disciple Making Goals—Everyone becoming a disciple of Christ

3. Bible Based—The Bible is a resource for each group

4. Mission Involvement—Each small group will choose a mission project through which they can serve the church or community

5. Intentional Outreach—Groups are designed to multiply and grow.
