    WELCOME BASKETS

  A fresh loaf of bread and a welcome letter is given to first time visitors, but what do you do with someone who is a new neighbor on your street, unfamiliar with the area and has not attended here for the first time?   FUMC will now offer Welcome Baskets for this very purpose! We have contacted local merchants in the area who have agreed to donate items of interest and education to FUMC and be a part of this new ministry.  Items that FUMC will be donating are a tri-fold with committee, ministry, small group and more important information, worship times, a pen and even a ‘special come worship with us” invite. Some of the other vendors participating with us are Kash N Karry, Pizza Hut, Homosassa Wildlife Park, Manatee Office Supply, Hair by Mare, Dallas Fencing, Pappa Johns Pizza and many service providers. More items will be added as the list of vendors grows.  If you know of a business or are a business who would like to participate in this ministry, please contact Barbara Jackson at 382-2705.

You can reach out to your new neighbors by taking ‘one’ basket to a new neighbor to welcome them to the area.  Don’t forget to let them know you are from FUMC and you want to invite them to Sunday service at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00.
